== Official App from Future Motion ==

An official app from Future Motion is available for [https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/onewheel/id946642160 iOS] and [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rideonewheel.onewheel Android]. Onewheel and Onewheel+ are supported. In addition to being able to choose digital shapings, configure settings and monitor your board status, the app includes GPS functionality for mapping your rides, finding and messaging other riders, and a leadership board tracking top speed and mileage.

With the introduction of the Onewheel+, Future Motion bought OWheelBuddy- a paid app which author Florian Geymayer has since discontinued. Previous purchasers of the app can still download it from [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onewheelbuddy.owheelbuddy Google Play]. It has similar functionality to the official app, but without support for Digital Shaping 2.0 from the Onewheel+. Some users find this app to be more lightweight, and work better on older devices than the official app.

== Community Apps ==

<b>Onewheel Web Test</b> by Drew Baumann ([https://drewbaumann.github.io/onewheel-web/ Github]) retrieves basic statistics (including battery level, odometer reading, ride mode, serial number, and revision) from your Onewheel- all via a desktop web browser (Web Bluetooth support required).

<b>pOnewheel</b> by Kevin Watkins ([https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.kwatts.powtools Android Google Play Store]) focuses on extended and hidden statistics (including pitch and roll). It has been [https://github.com/kwatkins/android-ponewheel open sourced on GitHub] in the hope that the community will enhance it further. In addition, you can now enroll in a beta version to get new updates, including support for Onewheel+'s Digital Shaping 2.0.

<b>onewheel-video-hud</b> by Walther Maciel ([https://github.com/wmaciel/onewheel-video-hud Github]) is a python script that can read log files generated by pOnewheel and add a dashboard overlay to videos you've shot on Onewheel.

<b>OneWheelWear</b> by toothR&D (paid version: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.toothr.oww Android Google Play Store] free, feature-limited demo version: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.toothr.oww.free Android Google Play Store]) is an app for Wear OS (formerly Android Wear 2.0) devices supporting Bluetooth LE. It is under active development. A [https://www.facebook.com/groups/489754068088886 Facebook group] exists for application support.

== Troubleshooting ==

The first suggested fix if you're having problems with one of these apps is to try uninstalling and reinstalling it. You can also try clearing the application's data.

If you have an older Android device and the app is running slowly, you can also try to boost the general performance of your phone by limiting the number of background tasks it can keep open, but this requires enabling Developer Options (Settings->About Device->Software infromation->Tap build number 7 times). Then, Settings->Developer Options->Limit background processes->At most, 4 processes. If it doesn't help, you can always switch it back to the Standard Limit.

With the introduction of the Onewheel+, Future Motion bought OWheelBuddy- a paid app which author Florian Geymayer has since discontinued. It has similar functionality to the official app, but without support for Digital Shaping 2.0 from the Onewheel+.

Craft&Ride's Onewheel V1, Plus & XR Grip Tape is the ideal addition to your Onewheel. With its silicon carbide composition, Craft&Ride's grip tape is cut to the exact specs of your stock Onewheel grip tape and features rock solid bonding to your Onewheel with ideal friction for your ride.

https://craftandride.com/collections/onewheel-griptape

The Float Life's TFL Grip is the only griptape specifically designed for the Onewheel. We found that the stock griptape that comes with your Onewheel doesn’t quite hold up to the type of floating we put our boards through on a daily basis. We tried some replacements, but regular skateboard grip tape ends up slippery and worn out after a half a trail ride, while Vicious is just a bit too gnarly and cuts up our hands and shoes. We developed TFL Griptape to be the first ever Onewheel specific griptape that’s a perfect happy medium! It’s coarse enough to keep your feet locked in, yet forgiving enough to allow for small foot adjustments and not shred you to pieces! We utilized a large durable aluminium oxide granule so it has no trouble standing up to a heavy wire brush cleaning without losing grip! Say goodbye to dirt-caked griptape forever! They come pre-cut so no razor blade needed and it’s as simple as peel and stick.

Joseph: /* Community Apps */

== Community Apps ==

[https://drewbaumann.github.io/onewheel-web/ Onewheel Web Test] by Drew Baumann retrieves basic statistics (including battery level, odometer reading, ride mode, serial number, and revision) from your Onewheel- all via a desktop web browser (Web Bluetooth support required).

pOnewheel by Kevin Watkins ([https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.kwatts.powtools Android]) focuses on extended and hidden statistics (including pitch and roll). It has been [https://github.com/kwatkins/android-ponewheel open sourced on GitHub] in the hope that the community will enhance it further. This app may also work better on older devices, but it has not yet been enhanced to support Digital Shaping 2.0.

== Troubleshooting ==

Made in California from recycled sails. It's pricey at $225 USD, but this slingpack provides a nice way of carrying the board over your shoulder or by its handles. An extra hook is provided so that the strap can be rearranged. This bag fits a Onewheel snuggly. I've been able to fit a pair of G-Forms elbow pads and TSG wrist pads alongside my Onewheel+, but anything else would have to go in a separate bag. However, the bag straps have gaps so you can affix MOLLE pouches or another bag.

== Community Apps ==

pOnewheel by Kevin Watkins ([https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.kwatts.powtools Android]) focuses on extended and hidden statistics (including pitch and roll). It has been [https://github.com/kwatkins/android-ponewheel open sourced on GitHub] in the hope that the community will enhance it further. This app may also work better on older devices, but it has not yet been enhanced to support Digital Shaping 2.0.

== Troubleshooting ==
