Instructions

  1. Buy at least 8 magnets from https://www.magnet4sale.com/n52-3-4x1-8-neodymium-rare-earth-disc-magnet-epoxy-coated/
  2. (Optional) Shave down the fender so that when it's attached, there won't be a gap in between the footpad and fender. Or just use some weatherstripping in there.
  3. Epoxy or superglue the magnets to the rail and fender. Make sure you use the right sides so they attract!
  4. Epxoy or superglue a plastic spacer on top of the rail magnet. This is to protect the magnets from shattering when they make contact.
