I’ve been riding a OneWheel since they first started shipping and I would be considered somewhat fanatical about it because I don’t just love it because it’s the most fun on dry land you can have. I love it because of how it makes you feel and the beauty and grace of quietly gliding through space. There’s something very special about riding a OneWheel that you have to experience - and I offer my OneWheel to anyone who is willing to experience it! I live in Canada and have waterproofed and tractioned my ride to handle most snowy conditions because the winter is too long to be away. I’m working on ways to keep my battery warm in -30 degrees Celsius conditions. Wakeboarding was my passion when it first got started and of course snowboarding, so I guess the OneWheel is the perfect extension of those loves, but it was new to have my feet free to move (I never skateboarded or surfed) and I like it :). My greatest frustration when I started riding the OW was the lack of information and sharing of what we learned in a place that was easy to find and search. So this Wiki is just perfect. I’ve ridden, torn down, built up, fixed, replaced, broken, fixed, made better, etc., etc., my OW so much that I think I have Credentials of Experience and a love to share everything I have done and learned with everyone. Thank you for creating this Wiki and I hope to contribute to it as I have benefitted so very much!
